Notice Is Hereby Given: That at 5 p.m., at the Sanborn City Hall, Sanborn, Iowa, on February 12, 2024, the City Council of the City of Sanborn, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the question of amending the urban renewal plan for the Sanborn Northeast Urban Renewal Area (the “Urban Renewal Area”) in order to authorize the undertaking of new urban renewal projects in the Urban Renewal Area consisting of (1) using tax increment financing to pay the costs of purchasing additional natural gas capacity and rebuilding the City’s natural gas regulator station;
(2) providing tax increment financing support to The Cut Meat Market, LLC (the “Meat Market”) in connection with the construction by the Meat Market of a new building for use in its business operations; and (3) providing tax increment financing support to Sybesma Graphics, Inc.
(“Sybesma”) in connection with the construction by Sybesma of a four-unit commercial strip mall.
A copy of the amendment is on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
At said hearing any interested person may file written objections or comments and may be heard orally with respect to the subject matters of the hearing.
