Scam Alert in Sanborn

The City of Sanborn was alerted to a Scam Alert. It was brought to the attention that residents of Sanborn have been receiving phone calls threatening to have their utilities shut off if they do not make an immediate payment. The phone number being used to call Sanborn residents are appearing as local numbers. Please note Sanborn Municipal Utilities would never disconnect service for nonpayment without twenty-four hour written notice.
