The City of Sanborn proposes to sell the following described parcel of real estate to Gary Schiphoff and LuAnn Schiphoff, husband and wife: Parcel F in Lots Five (5) and Six (6) of Business Park Addition. That part of Lots Five (5) and Six (6) of Business Park Addition to Sanborn, O’Brien County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of said Lot Six (6); thence North 90°00’00” West on the south line of said Lot Six (6) for a distance of 40.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing North 90°00’00” West on said south line and on the south line of said Lot Five (5) for a distance of 100.00 feet; thence North 00°08’58” West parallel with the east line of said Lot 6 for a distance of 150.00 feet; thence North 90°00’00” East parallel with the south lines of said Lots Five (5) and Six (6); for a distance of 100.00 feet; thence South 00°08’58” East parallel with the east line of said Lot 6 for a distance of 150.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 15,000 square feet (0.34 acres).
Public hearing on the proposal for the sale of real estate shall be held on March 11, 2024 at 5:00 o’clock p.m. before the City Council at the Council Chambers in City Hall, Sanborn, Iowa, immediately following the hearing, the Council will sell the foregoing parcel of real estate. Final approval of the sale will be made by the City Council following the hearing.
The terms of the proposed sale are as follows:

1. The sale will be for the consideration of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) and other valuable consideration. The City will transfer the property by Quit Claim Deed.
   The Purchasers shall take said property subject to all future taxes and special assessments. The City will not pay for any abstracting. The City reserves any and all easements.
2. The Purchasers shall take title to the property subject to all covenants of records and other Zoning Ordinances presently in force in the City of Sanborn.
   The public is invited to attend and comment on the proposed sale.
