PUBLIC NOTICE RE: SALE OF REAL ESTATE
The City of Sanborn proposes to sell the following described parcel of real estate (Sanborn
Community Center) to Jordan K. Nieuwenhuis, a single person:
Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8), all in Block Seven (7), Original Town, now City of Sanborn,
O’Brien County, Iowa.
Public hearing on the proposal for the sale of real estate shall be held on April 8, 2024 at
5:00 o’clock p.m. before the City Council at the Council Chambers in City Hall, Sanborn, Iowa,
immediately following the hearing, the Council will sell the foregoing parcel of real estate. Final
approval of the sale will be made by the City Council following the hearing.
The terms of the proposed sale are as follows:

1. The sale will be for the consideration of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) and other
   valuable consideration. The City will transfer the property by Quit Claim Deed. The
   Purchaser shall take said property subject to all future taxes and special assessments.
   The City will not pay for any abstracting. The City reserves any and all easements.
2. The Purchaser shall take title to the property subject to all covenants of records and
   other Zoning Ordinances presently in force in the City of Sanborn.
   The public is invited to attend and comment on the proposed sale.
