Mankato, MN was the destination for over twenty-five people who traveled to see the musicial, Anastasia, by the Minnesota State University Mankato Theater and Dance department. They were there to support Brooklyn Kellenberger in her role of Anastaisia. The whole cast and crew of young professionals created a fabulous production. Joanne Andersen joined her daughter, April and her son of Iowa City; and her granddaughter Courtney and husband Rhett of Denver, CO. Rhett’s parents, Doug and Linda, Athena, Wade and Gavin Kellenberger; Wade’s parents, Lou and Lehoy; Brooklyn’s boyfriend and his parents, all from Sioux Falls also were in the audience. Joanne’s son, Peter, his wife, Ornuma and his daughter of Isanti, MN made it to the Saturday matinee performance as well. Brooklyn met with a group of Girl Scouts for questions after the play. Then she joined her family and friends for pictures and fellowship at a local restaurant. Joanne is looking forward to attending productions this weekend again…one time was not enough.
