HMS 5th and 6th Spring Concert
The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn 5th and 6th Grade Spring Concert was presented April 9 at Sanborn Middle School.
The evening began with the 5th Grade Band, under the direction of Mrs. Lewis, playing Warp Speed and GrooVE! Next up was the 6th Grade Band directed by Mr. Yenzer. They performed Sailor, Sailor followed by Kookabura Variations. The two bands then joined together for Creatures in the Attic.
Next it was time for the 5/6 General Music students directed by Mrs. Daggett and Mrs. Lewis. They began by singing Come to the Music with special guest Lavila Nelson on piccolo. This Old Man was the next vocal selection. The students performed a Basketball Routine to High Hopes by Panic! At The Disco and then were given small lights to accent the next song, Flashlight. The evening concluded with the selection Bonse Aba.
