Doug Van Es had the pleasure of scoring a Hole in One on Hole No. 7 at Sanborn Golf and Country Club on Friday, June 14. Doug was golfing by himself but the feat was witnessed by those golfing on Hole No. 8.Two weeks ago Debbie Raymond spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Des Moines attending the 2024 Iowa Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Saturday night after the meeting, she had supper and visited with one of her old classmates who turns out to also be a distant cousin.
