Last week Tuesday afternoon Shari Pyle of Sioux Falls and her daughter and granddaughter Abby and Elizah Pritchard of Sturgis, SD visited with Harriet Van Veldhuizen and also with Aunt Jeane Van Veldhuizen at Prairie View.
Jackie Van Engen and Harriet Van Veldhuizen attended the memorial service for John Van Veldhuizen, a former Sanborn resident, at the Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City last week Wednesday.
Rex and Deb Raymond, Roccy and Diann Raymond, and Steve and Anne Jaycox spent time together over the weekend at the Miller Park cabin.
The Ace of Clubs met at Jay’s Restaurant & Lounge Friday for lunch and an afternoon of eight games of 500. High scorer was Donna Fell, Linda Strubbe (substitute) was second and Ruth Hanno was low score.
Sunday afternoon Harriet Van Veldhuizen, Donna and Kim Farrell, and Nancy Van Dyke went to Sioux Falls to attend a bridal shower for Harriet’s granddaughter, Heather Brunsting of Sioux Falls. She will be getting married in September.
Thursday afternoon visitors in the Lee and Susie Van Tol home were their granddaughter, Stephanie Schmidt, her daughter Korbyn and grandson Everett of Dell Rapids SD. Also visiting were their granddaughter, Rebecca Miller, Lillee and Natalee of Primghar.
