Dedication services for the new building of Sanborn Christian Reformed Church will be held Thurs., August 29 at 8 p.m.
Marion D. Jaycox, who has decided not to run for re-election to the Board of Education was honored with the presentation of a plaque last Thursday evening at a potluck supper at the school. He served on the Board for 18 ½ years.

Newcomers to the HMS staff include Steve Lueck, World History and coaching, Kathleen Negus, Spanish, Audra Loots, high school vocal music, Peggy Duncan, K-4 and 7-8 art, Rachel Van Dyke, night custodian.
A Ribbon Cutting was held last week for Al’s Plumbing & Heating located in the former ambulance building on Main Street.
A 20 pound head of cabbage was part of the bounty pictured from Clarice Watterson’s garden this year.
