The election for Sanborn Community School District will be held September 10….the only candidate for the director on the school board is Kenneth Warnke….the only and incumbent for treasurer is Merne Haack.
A group of friends spent a social afternoon with Miss Lola Britton to welcome her back to Sanborn.
Robbie Robinson 5KT USN has been informed that he is being promoted to Chief Petty Officer effective in October.
The ladies of the First Reformed Church are serving lunches and dinners to the men who are tearing down the old church.

Coffee Break, a community Bible Study meets every Wednesday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Sanborn Christian Reformed Church.
The St. John’s Lutheran Ladies Aid served a dinner Sunday evening to honor the newly confirmed members and their parents. The young people honored were Caleb Funke, Max Kading and Valerie Gieser.
Countryside Diner & Gifts is now open. Located at Postma Lawn Care, junction of 18 & 59 S., Sanborn.
