Candice Lyman spent the weekend in Lincoln, NE to watch grandson Ryker play hockey and baseball. Ryker is the son of Swede and Kim Eliker.
Jim Dasen of Cedar Rapids came last week Wednesday to visit in the parental Charlotte Dasen home and to see his brother, Jeff who is also visiting from Scottsdale, AZ.
Weekend visitors in the Jim and Becky Suckow home were their children, Amy Suckow of Eden Prairie, MN and Andrew Suckow of West Des Moines. They came to celebrate birthdays. They both came on Friday and returned home on Sunday.
Chloe Elbon was a guest in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home from Tuesday through Friday. Friday afternoon Alisa, Taylor, Ellie and Jase Holland of Buffalo Center came for a weekend visit. Sunday the Holland family were joined by Brandi, Maci, Jack and Kennedy Wright and Carol Elgersma, traveling to Beaver Valley Lutheran Church to witness the confirmation of their nephew and grandson, Blake Holz. Blake is the son of Josh and Angie Holz. They also were able to meet their great-nephew and great-grandson, Briggs Holz, son of Cody and Morgan Holz and grandson of Josh. Also attending from Sanborn was Norm Holz, Blake’s great-grandfather and Briggs’ great-great-grandfather.
