On Nov. 5 five gals from Sanborn High School, Class of 1962, enjoyed lunch at Jay’s Restaurant. They included Arlene Frerichs of Lake Park, Judy McQueen of Archer, Andy Cardin of Sheldon and Gayle Vander Woude and Linda Rozeboom of Sanborn. They were also joined by Andy’s sister Melanie Truitt of Sheldon and Glenda Miller of Sanborn.
Thursday evening Harriet Van Veldhuizen and some of her family, John, Donna and Kim Farrell and Ryan and Nancy Van Dyke, spent some time at Prairie View to help Jeane Van Veldhuizen celebrate her birthday that day.
Don and Donna Olson of Sioux City visited her sister, Linda Rozeboom last week Tuesday and took her out for lunch Jay’s Restaurant.
Bob Ellett of Iowa City spent a few days in Sanborn last week. He visited Charlotte Dasen Friday evening.
Weekend visitors of Jeane Van Veldhuizen were her daughter and husband, Hope and Luke Corso and their daughter Jill of Geneseo, IL. Saturday noon they all enjoyed a meal at Jay’s Restaurant and were joined by Harriet Van Veldhuizen and some of her family, Donna and Kim Farrell and also Shari Pyle of Sioux Falls and her friend Matt Mayer of Spirit Lake.
David Andringa of Hartley and Jim Andringa of Fairmont, MN, visited their mother, Sylvia Andringa on Saturday and did some errands for her.
