Scholarships at NCC
Mongera and Nkuna receive Multi-Cultural Scholarships at NCC
Judy Mongera and Caleb Nkuna, both from Sanborn, are among the 17 students to receive a Multi-Cultural Scholarship awarded by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation. To be eligible, students must have a high school GPA of 2.0 and be a member of a recognized race/ethnic minority. Mongera and Nkuna are Nursing students at the Sheldon college.
Elwood is recipient of Rodney Anderson Agriculture Scholarship
Taylan Elwood of Sanborn is one of a dozen students at Northwest Iowa Community College to be awarded a Rodney Anderson Agriculture Scholarship. The scholarship was established by Rodney Anderson who was part of the farming community in O’Brien County since he was four years old. The scholarship is to support the achievement of students who choose to attend NCC and enroll as full-time students in programs that support the agriculture industry. Scholarships are $1,000. Elwood is in the Agriculture program at the Sheldon college.
