Delaney Murphy of Sanborn was one of four students at Northwest Iowa Community College to receive a President’s full-tuition scholarship. The NCC Foundation awards the scholarships annually to incoming students. Selection is based on academic achievement in high school and an essay written about themselves and how NCC can help them be successful. Murphy is majoring in Nursing at the Sheldon college.
President’s scholarships were also awarded to Aden Armstrong, Ogden, IL, majoring in Powerline; Eric Nilles, Boyden, majoring in Business Management; and Zach Zemler, Adrian, MN, majoring in Welding.
