Last week Thursday Jose and Carol Salazar’s granddaughter, Ava Ten Kley had a break from college and spent time with them in their home. On Friday they went to Rock Valley and took a tour of the Rock Valley school. Nicole Roder, daughter-in-law of Carol and Jose, is the high school principal there. Also the Salazars’ grandson Eric and wife Keely are teachers there. The school has a lot of repair work yet to be done because of the bad flood they had. The Salazars enjoyed lunch at the Pizza Ranch. Ava returned to college on Saturday.
Last week Monday the instrumental musicians of Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls shared their talents and hard work. Joanne Andersen attended the performance along with her daughter and son-in-law, Athena and Wade Kellenberger. Her grandson, Gavin, was one of the music students on the stage.
Randy Lyman visited in the Swede and Kim Eliker home at Lincoln, NE this past weekend. He came especially to pick up Candice who had been helping out in their home since the birth of their new baby, Parker, joining big brother Ryker.
