Marsha Rehder receives County Staff Distinguished Service Award
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is delighted to announce that Marsha Rehder, the O’Brien County Office Assistant and Agriculture Program Coordinator, has been awarded the County Staff Distinguished Service Award during the 2025 Northwest ISU Extension and Outreach Awards Event in Le Mars. This award recognizes Marsha’s remarkable 25-year journey of unwavering dedication and exceptional service.
Marsha has been a shining example of outstanding service, epitomizing the core mission of ISU Extension and Outreach. Her exceptional stewardship of the regional youth staff budget and her ability to creatively address local challenges have ensured our initiatives’ sustained impact.
Marsha is known for her strong partnership skills, wisdom, and positivity. She has been instrumental in implementing effective programs like the Farm Succession Planning workshop, which addresses the agricultural community’s needs. Her dedication to personal and professional development and her mentorship of new staff have made her a highly respected figure in the community.
