Sanborn Bulldogs guard Greg Cummins, was named “”Prep of the Week” by the Des Moines Register, following Sanborn’s victory over unbeaten Alta in which Greg amassed 42 points.

Approximately 3,120 cookies were donated for Prairie View’s “Have a Heart” cookie day February 14.
Seven couples of the Fellowship Club of the Lutheran Church enjoyed a “Sweethearts” supper at the Standard Cafe Sunday evening.

Marilyn Schroeck and Pam Buysman were the initiators of an electronic portfolios project at H-M-S which was one of 25 statewide to be selected as a Showcase on Educational Technology project.
The First Baby of 2000 in the area was born February 19. Rob and Candice Andringa are happy to announce the birth of their daughter, Kaylie Dawn.
