Thursday, February 27, 1975
Mark Keedy of Steamboat Springs, CO is recuperating in the home of his parents, the Herschel Keedys. Mark’s feet were frostbitten during a Winter Survival Course on skis. He was hospitalized several days before arriving home.
The Darwin Bos family moved into their home recently purchased from the Charles Browns.

Receiving One’s at the district speech contest Saturday were Pam McGranahan, Lori Reinsma, David Bohnet, Kris Hakeman, Dawn Rozeboom, Mary Thomas, Lisa Luke and Rhonda Van Kley.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bosh returned home Sunday from a two-week vacation spent at Mesa, AZ.
Mr. and Mrs. M.D. Jaycox returned home Friday evening from a two-week vacation at McAllen, TX.

Lenten Luncheons will be held each Wednesday in the Sanborn churches. The theme this year is the Seven Words of Christ from the cross.
Open House will be held at the Sanborn Housing Triplex at 301 Floyd Street on Sat., March 4.

Record-setting high temperatures in the 70’s seem to prompt the feeling that summer has pre-empted spring. Snow cover has disappeared and Robins have been here for three weeks.
The Sanborn Farm & Home Show was held at the HMS Middle School in Sanborn Saturday.
Effective immediately, officials have given notice that there will be no open burning in Sanborn until further notice.
