Lindy Buren spent Easter with her son, James at Sibley. They played Yahtzee and Chinese Checkers. She later visited Linda Rozeboom Sunday and enjoyed apple pie and ice cream. She stated that they had a delightful time.
Kim Eliker, Ryker, Lincoln and Parker spent the weekend in the parental Randy and Candice Lyman home. They had a baby sprinkle (meet and greet) for Parker on Saturday.
Last Friday Christy and Jeremy Ten Kley and daughters, Ava, Ady and Claire arrived in the home of their parents, Jose and Carol Salazar to spend the Easter weekend. Also stopping by on Saturday was grandson Alic Salazar who enjoyed supper with all. They all attended church on Sunday and enjoyed Easter dinner. The Ten Kleys returned home Sunday afternoon.
Easter Day Mike Rozeboom of Sioux Falls, SD, Bryce Rozeboom of Vermillion, SD, and Danielle Rozeboom of Sioux Falls and her friend, Matt, were dinner guests of Linda Rozeboom. Afternoon coffee guest was Lindy Buren.
The Wade Tresslers had weekend guests for Sherryl’’s birthday. They were Jade Paulson and Gary Butler from Coralville. On Friday Rae and Roger Paulson took everyone out for supper.
Amy Suckow of Eden Prairie, MN came last Friday to spend Easter with her parents, Jim and Becky Suckow. She returned home on Sunday.
Wednesday Sylvia Andringa’s niece, Lorraine Edwards of Bigelow, MN came to visit in the afternoon. On Thursday Stan and Deb Andringa of Armstrong visited Sylvia.
On Easter Sunday Brian and Becca Hakeman and children of Sioux Falls came to attend church services with Sylvia and had lunch with her along with Lois Hakeman. The afternoon of Easter Sunday Edward and Jolene Greving of Estherville and daughter, Lori of Sheldon visited Sylvia.
Easter weekend was busy for Harriet Van Veldhuizen and many of her family. Saturday morning daughter Diane and Chad McKee and granddaughter Katie and Tate Leslie all of Sioux Falls came to visit. At noon they were joined by daughter Shari Pyle and Harriet’s grandsons, David and Jon Van Dyke and their daughter, Lena Joy, all of Sioux Falls, and Jacob Van Dyke of Spirit Lake. Also joining them were daughters Nancy and Ryan Van Dyke, Donna Farrell and her daughter Kim, all of Sanborn, and also Kim’s friend, Matthew Ewoldt of Hull. After noon lunch, some of the family went to Prairie View to visit and have coffee with their Aunt Jeanne Van Veldhuizen. Saturday evening Shari and Anna Pyle of Sioux Falls and John and Donna Farrell and Harriet Van Veldhuizen enjoyed a meal in Sheldon.
Sunday noon John and Donna Farrell entertained at their home. Guests were Shari and Anna Pyle of Sioux Falls, SD, Matthew Ewoldt of Hull and Kim Farrell and Harriet Van Veldhuizen.
Keith and Nancy Iverson took their family out to Jay’s Restaurant & Lounge for Easter dinner. They included Brian Buren and family, Shane and Lanea Elgersma and family, Brent and friend Kelsey. They reported good food and plenty of food.
Easter dinner guests of Charlotte Dasen were Esther D’Agrosa of Boyden and Lisa Smith. Lisa drove to Boyden to pick up Esther. Esther had made and brought the whole Easter dinner.
