On Saturday the Wade Tresslers went to Fremont, NE to celebrate Bianca Vondra’s graduation.
Leta Brown of Spencer spent Friday night with Lindy Buren and several friends. She returned home on Saturday.
Sunday Lindy Buren went to the Sibley Care Initiatives to visit her son, James to celebrate “May the Fourth Be With You” for Star Wars Day. On Monday Lindy visited Wayne and Chris Jungers of Sheldon who was scheduled to have surgery this Tuesday. Sunday was spent with Connie Brewster watching the Indiana Fever basketball game.
Anna Pyle of Sioux Falls, SD will graduate from Harrisburg, South Dakota High School on Sunday, May 11 at the Sioux Falls Arena. A graduation party was held in Sioux Falls on Sat., May 3. Attending from Sanborn were her grandmother, Harriet Van Veldhuizen and her aunts Nancy and Ryan Van Dyke and Donna and John Farrell and her cousin, Kim Farrell.
On Saturday Randy and Candice Lyman attended the graduation party for Bianca Vondra at Fremont, NE.
Linda Rozeboom went to Fremont, NE Saturday afternoon with nieces Laurie Siemonsma of Archer and Teresa Van Otterloo of Orange City. They attended the graduation party for niece Bianca Vondra, daughter of Ronda and Gary Vondra.
Mike Rozeboom and Danielle of Sioux Falls, SD were lunch guests of Linda Rozeboom last Thursday.
Saturday Deb Sorenson of Cherokee visited Charlotte Dasen. Anna D’Agrosa of Brooklyn, NY visited her later in the afternoon. Jim Dasen of Cedar Rapids arrived late afternoon to spend time in the Dasen home. Jeff Dasen of Scottsdale, AZ arrived Sunday evening to spend time in the home of his mother.
Last Friday Joanne Andersen drove to Des Moines to visit her daughter, Pamela and husband Chris for coffee.
On Saturday, April 26, Joanne Andersen was in Burlington to see her sister-in-law Paula and husband Mike. Lunch was at Paula’s favorite restaurant. They toured Paula’s spring flower garden before Joanne’s next event that day. By Saturday afternoon Joanne was in Iowa City seated in a row of family at Southeast Iowa Bandmasters honor band concert for first and second year students performance. Joanne’s grandson was in the second year students performance. His parents, grandparents and siblings enjoyed the concert.
Sunday Joanne Andersen spent the day with her daughter, April and grandson. They played board games, old and new.
On Sunday Gary and Gertrude Abels of Sibley visited her sister, Sylvia Andringa.
Visitors in the Lee and Susie Van Tol home over the weekend were grandson Kyle Vander Zee of Holland, IL and grandson-in-law Nathan Middle and his brother, Kalan from near Holland, IL. All are graduates of Dordt College and they came to attend the funeral service of the mother of their close friend from Dordt College. They were all roommates at Dordt and they were guests in her home frequently when they were in school. They returned home Monday after the funeral.
