Thursday, June 26, 1975
Miss Marilyn Goldhorn was among 49 nursing students who graduated at the 72nd annual commencement of St. Joseph’s Mercy School of Nursing on June 20.
Mrs. Cora Brendle entertained the Neighborhood Birthday Group in her home Friday afternoon.
The Pry family reunion was held Sunday in the Sanborn Park with 106 in attendance.
Mayor and Mrs. Pete Kroese hosted an informal coffee Wednesday morning at the Municipal Building meeting room honoring City Administrator Ken Muth on his birthday. Attending were city officials and employees.
Gene Beckman was pictured in this issue of The Sanborn Pioneer with a four and one half pound smallmouth bass he caught at the Douma Park pit.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bosma moved back to Sanborn last week after spending a year and a half at Logan, Utah. He will again be employed at Harry’s Motor.

It was quite a surprise to Dr. Rodney and Lisa Den Hartog Monday morning to look out their window and see a deer running across their street and down the alley.
There will be a farewell open house July 2 for Father David Hemann…He served the parishes of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Sanborn and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hartley.
The new signs have been installed at the City Park and Cemetery.
