The Crazy 8 Card Club met a week ago Friday at Jay’s Restaurant & Lounge. Gayle Vander Woude won high, Linda Strubbe second and Ruth Hanno low.
After flying to Houston, TX July 13, Debbie Raymond drove back to Sanborn a few days later with her daughter, Jackie Booker and grandkids: Lincoln, Cecilia and Molly. After a two-week visit here they will drive back to Houston and Debbie will fly back home on August 1.
Steve Goetz of Fairbanks, AK arrived by motorcycle last week Wednesday. He rode the Great River Road from the tip of Louisiana to Dubuque, and then on to Sanborn for a visit in the Charlotte Dasen home.
Charlie and Marilyn Schroeck of Arnolds Park, and Carol Salazar visited last week Thursday in the Charlotte Dasen home. They came especially to visit with Charlotte’s family, Jeff Dasen of Scottsdale, and the Goetzes of Fairbanks, AK.
David and Amy Ingram, Parker and Charlotte of Fairbanks, AK arrived Saturday evening to spend time in the home of Grandma Charlotte Dasen.
Visitors of Norm Holz Sunday were his children: Steve and Sharon Holz, Randy and Deb Holz, and Gail and Tom Gieser. They all enjoyed pizza from the Country Club.
Mike and Danielle Rozeboom of Sioux Falls were noon lunch and afternoon visitors Friday in the Linda Rozeboom home.
