Roth TV, a new business for Sanborn, will open Mon., August 19 on Main Street. Jerry Roth of Hartley has purchased the business from Wally English and will operate the business in the building leased from Wally English.
James P. Cravens, the younger son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Cravens, has joined the staff of Sanborn Savings Bank as assistant cashier.
Johnny Schmeiser was honored with a surprise birthday party by a group of friends at the O.K. Recreation recently.
Mrs. Charlie Brown was a guest of honor at a farewell coffee in the Don Hakeman home.
Miss Lynn Brown was honored by the girls of her freshman class of Sanborn as a surprise farewell held in the Sanborn park August 6. She will move with her parents to Creston to make their new home.
