The process of introducing water from the New Water Treatment Plant in to the system has started.  City Staff will begin flushing hydrants throughout the City on the evening of Wednesday, April 21st to help remove iron and manganese from the water mains.  Residents may notice some discoloration in their water throughout this process.  Please refrain from doing laundry Wednesday evening to avoid ruining clothing.  There will be a second flushing in upcoming weeks, and more information about those dates will be released as it gets closer.
