A Fall Appreciation Supper will be served in Sanborn on Sat., November 9 from 5-7 by the Sanborn Chamber of Commerce. They will serve a free turkey supper at the Community School lunch room.
Because of the computer system now used by the state, there will be no more “reserved” license plate numbers.
Cub Scouts have reorganized in Sanborn. Gerald Buren is the Cubmaster. Den Mothers are Sharon Maris, Kay Rubsam and Jean Peterson.

An omelet breakfast is planned for November 20 with proceeds to be used for a new electronic sign in the city park and a sign at Roseland Cemetery.
Prairie View Bazaar is Friday, Nov. 5 this year. Proceeds will be used for Auxiliary projects.
Carrie Hofland, Sanborn Christian School, has been selected to perform with State Honor Choir on November 4 at C. Y. Stephens Auditorium, Ames.
Mayor Don Kroese was reelected to a two-year term at election Tuesday. Duane Van Veldhuizen and Ed Visser, incumbents and Tim Devitt were elected to City Council.
