George and Helen Andringa visited Sylvia Andringa Friday and took her out for supper. Joleen Greving and daughter of Estherville came Saturday to visit Sylvia. Saturday night Brian and Becca Hakeman of Sioux Falls came and took Sylvia out for supper. They all came to help Sylvia celebrate her birthday anniversary.

Jim Dasen of Cedar Rapids left last week Wednesday after visiting in the parental Charlotte Dasen home for a week. Jeff Dasen of Scottsdale, AZ left Saturday by car after visiting his mother for the past three weeks. He reported good roads until Flagstaff, AZ where he experienced snow.
On Sunday Joanne Andersen went to the Spencer Community Theater to attend “Oliver.” Dorothy Wegner of Spencer joined her there.
Wade and Sherryl Tressler treated 114 Trick or Treaters at their home on Hallowe’en.
Lindy Buren’s son James Carney spent the weekend with her in Sanborn. They attended a birthday party in Spencer for Lindy’s great-nephew, Derek. They visited her niece, Kari and great-niece and nephew Mallory and Harrison of Hartley, and Meloni and James Menglesen.
