The Okoboji/HMS girls wrestling team moved to 11-0 with three more dual victories in a quadrangular which they hosted at Milford. The Pioneers defeated Sheldon/South O’Brien 42-36, Sibley-Ocheyedan 60-18 and Spirit Lake 36-30.
Two wrestlers from HMS saw action. At 130 pounds Addily Benz won by forfeit in the duals against Sheldon/South O’Brien and Sibley-Ocheyedan but was pinned by the Indians’ Camilla Neppl in 32 seconds. Mahkenzie Mattingly, wrestling at 155 pounds, was a winner by forfeit in the dual with the Generals. She lost by fall to Sheldon/South O’Brien’s Paityn Horner in 51 seconds and to Spirit Lake’s Rayvena Ussery in 1:04.
