The Crazy 8 Card Club met at Jay’s Restaurant & Lounge last Friday for an afternoon of playing 500. Ardis Dummett was hostess. Jean Snyder won high, Linda Rozeboom second, and Linda Strubbe low.

Jim Dasen of Cedar Rapids came Monday to spend time in the home of his mother, Charlotte Dasen.
Lindy Buren’s granddaughter, Nichelle DeJager from Rock Valley stopped by with Emmit, Elsie and Brooks last week. They brought flowers. Elizabeth Carney from Rock Rapids also stopped. Lindy received a surprise beautiful bouquet from her daughter, Krista Ewoldt. She reported that it was a lovely day.
Lindy Buren hosted a Valentine’s Day party on February 14. Guests were Colleen Lowery, Connie Brewster, and Liz Elgersma from Sanborn and Meloni Menglesen from Spencer. They enjoyed a time of visiting and lunch.
