Remsen St. Mary’s boys top HMS golfers
Remsen St. Mary’s visited Sanborn Golf & Country Club April 29 to take on the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn boys in War Eagle Conference action. St. Mary’s shot 177 as a team to defeat HMS, which carded a 191 total. Five golfers fired a round of 45, including Samuel Heyn and Ben Haack. That was the third best round of the day, but due to the tiebreakers, both Heyn and Haack missed out on the medals.
