On May 6 Lillian Dee Schirmer, daughter of Trenton and Natasha Schirmer, celebrated her first birthday with friends and family at Miller Park shelter house. She enjoyed opening all her presents and appreciated all who came to help her celebrate.
Lois Hakeman and Sylvia Andringa drove to Spirit Lake and spent Mother’s Day with Bob and Nella Seivert in their lake home. Additional supper guests were Ed and Jolene Greving of Estherville.
Andrew Suckow of West Des Moines came Friday night to spend Mother’s Day in the parental Jim and Becky Suckow home. He returned home Sunday night.
Brian and Jenna Buren hosted a Mother’s Day BBQ supper Sunday. Guests were Keith and Nancy Iverson, Chase and Amber Vermeer and family of Orange City, and Caleb and Shania Buren and family of Marcus.
Mike, Trish, and Addi Odenbrett along with Zach, Syd, and Kiah Wohlert, Colin Odenbrett and Maddie, took Glenda and Kent Miller to the dinner buffet at the Primghar golf course for Mother’s Day.
Chad and Andrew Odenbrett, Emily, Penny, Frannie and Lettie hosted a Mother’s Day supper at their home in Primghar. Glenda and Kent Miller, Mike, Trish, Addi and Colin Odenbrett and Maddie, Zach, Syd and Kiah Wohlert were all guests for the supper.
Last Monday evening Joanne Andersen attended the Sioux Falls Lincoln High School 5 Bands “Pops” Concert with her daughter Athena and Wade Kellenberger. Her grandson, Gavin is a percussionist in one of the bands. Even the marching band played as they came down the auditorium aisles, Sousa phones, drum line and all.
Cathy Gray of Rochester, MN came Thursday and was an overnight guest in the parental Charlotte Dasen home. She also came to visit her brothers, Jeff and Jim who were visiting. Dinner guests Friday were Cathy, Jeff, Jim, and Esther D’Agrosa of Boyden. Cathy returned home on Friday afternoon. Jim returned home on Saturday. They all came especially to celebrate Charlotte’s 93rd birthday anniversary.
Esther D’Agrosa of Boyden was a Mother’s Day dinner guest of Charlotte Dasen and her son Jeff. Later in the afternoon Mark and Connie Noll of Iowa Falls stopped in for a visit.
Randy and Candice Lyman visited Swede, Kim, Ryker and Parker Eliker at Lincoln, NE over the weekend and helped set up a basketball hoop for Ryker.
Linda Rozeboom’s grandson Bryce Rozeboom of Vermillion, SD visited her Saturday afternoon and evening.
Mike and Danielle Rozeboom of Sioux Falls were Mother’s Day afternoon and evening guests of Linda Rozeboom. Lindy Buren stopped in the afternoon for a visit.
Wade and Sherryl Tressler attended a graduation party in honor of Bianca Vondra in Fremont, NE.
Roger and Ethan Paulson and Wade Tressler took Rae Lyn Paulson and Sherryl Tressler out to eat on Mother’s Day.
On Saturday noon Troy Salazar arrived at the home of his parents, Jose and Carol Salazar to spend the weekend for Mother’s Day. They attended a graduation party of a friend in Rock Valley and enjoyed seeing relatives and friends. Troy returned home on Sunday.
Roy and Stacey Eeten and Nick Mills of Sioux Falls, SD and Brandi, Maci, Jack and Kennedy Wright of Sanborn were Saturday guests in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home. They enjoyed visiting and hearing about Nick’s recent trip with the Special Olympics in Turin, Italy.
