Sanborn golf course gets some SWAG
Sanborn Golf and Country Club welcomed 58 ladies of SWAG on June 30. SWAG is a group of ladies aged 55+ who golf at courses in northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota each Monday. SWAG is short for Senior Women Aging Gracefully. Currently their membership includes eight ladies from Sanborn.
Linda Strubbe volunteered to make 30 door prizes which she created using the sublimation printing process. Many of the items had SWAG printed on them and others featured a cute golf saying.
Refreshments were served at Sanborn Country Club. This marked the first time that SWAG has come to Sanborn.
