Cooks have a great opportunity to show off their cooking skills at the 3rd Annual Cook-off Competition during Railroad Days at 610 Depot on Friday, July 25. Prepare the meat the way they want at their home using Pork Butt or Pork Loin or both. Registration was due July 16th. Cost to enter was $25 for one cut of meat or $40 for both. Meat can be picked up Wednesday, July 23 from 6pm-8pm at Miller Park shelter house. Winners get for first place $300 610 Depot Gift Cards and Second $200 610 Depot Gift Cards. There is 1st to 4th place in both meath categories with additional $425 cash paid out to 1st to 4th Places in both categories. The meat will be used as the main course at the community supper Friday evening at 610 Depot from 6pm-8pm. There will be a freewill donation meal serving sandwiches, salads & beans. Rootbeer floats will be served by Casa de Adoracion Emanuel.
