Thursday, July 31. 1975
A large number of members attended the 69th Annual Meeting of the Sanborn Cooperative Grain Company on a hot July night…The Sanborn Coop showed growth during the year.
Jose Salazar was presented a purse of money between games at Brady Field Thursday night. Two Benefit Ball Games were sponsored by the O.K. Recreation team for Jose Salazar, a team member who received serious leg injuries early in the season.
Thursday, August 7, 1975
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Getting will be honored Sunday on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The open house will be held at the Presbyterian Church.
Carl Postma was presently surprised at the American Legion meeting Monday night when he was given an Honorary Lifetime Membership.
The Post reunion and potluck supper was held at the Sanborn park Friday evening with 55 in attendance.

Cornie and Grace Hartog served as Parade Marshals at the Sanborn Railroad Days events this year.
A locomotive provided by the I & M Rail Lines was parked in Sanborn During Railroad Days. People were given a tour and information on railroad safety.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Smith returned home Monday after a 13-day vacation to Wyoming and Colorado.

A Service of Installation for the Rev. Gary Hegsted as pastor of First Reformed Church of Sanborn will be held at 7:30 p.m. on August 10.
Sanborn Hardware will have a Grand Opening on Saturday, August 5.
DeBoer Pharmacy will have their 12th open house on Friday, August 4.
