PCP Children’s Play Opens November 19 and 20
The Primghar Community Playhouse is excited to be back on the Primghar stage rehearsing “The Seussified Christmas Carol” by Peter Bloedel.
We have 18 children from the South O’Brien, Hospers, and Sheldon area. Jeremy Rohwer from Archer is directing the performance with the assistance of Mariah Oliver from Paullina.
This glorious tale of holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with–if he ever had his way with a story. It is a reinvention of Dickens’ most beloved Christmas story in wacky rhymed couplets. The scrooge is a all people hater who comes to realize the error of his greed after Jake Marley, his old business partner, and three Christmas spirits come to show him Christmas from his past, present, and future. The scrooge becomes a kind and giving person who shows us how to count our blessings during the holidays!
Production dates are Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Primghar Community Building. Tickets are available at the door.
This is a play that everyone will enjoy!! Mark your calendars now!! It is a great feel good show to start out the holiday season!
