Everly woman injured in Sunday afternoon crash
The Iowa State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle crash that hospitalized an Everly woman. The Patrol says that around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 3 a motorcycle, operated by 39-year-old Heather Dillingham of Everly, was westbound on Highway 18 near the intersection of County Road N-14 east of Dickens when a southbound vehicle driven by 31-year-old Sara Murphy of Springfield, IL reportedly pulled out in front of her leading to the collision.
The Patrol indicated that Dillingham was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was taken to Spencer Hospital by ambulance with unspecified injuries. Murphy was treated for minor injuries at the scene and then released.
