Audra Vollink, a 6th Grader at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School, has been selected for the 36th annual Opus Honor Choir Festival.
Approximately 3,000 students were nominated by their directors for 720 spots in the four Opus Honor Choirs. Selections were made by means of a recorded audition.
The 2022 Opus Honor Choirs will perform November 17 at 4:00 p.m. at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames. Audra will be in the 180-voice 5th/6th Grade choir.
Audra is the daughter of Scott and Becky Vollink and is directed by music teacher Kristi Daggett.
