Each year Conaway Post 318 American Legion awards to a high school senior from Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn and Western Christian a $500 award to further their education. Contact your school guidance counselor for applications. You may also contact Merne Haack for applications. These awards are for Sanborn residents. All applications must be turned in to Merne Haack by April 1st.
