Lindy Buren hosted a Valentine Tea on February 14 at 2:14 p.m. Guests were Colleen Lowery, Lori Brinkman, Barb Pry, Carol Salazar, Linda Rozeboom, Ruth Hanno, Joann Askland, Pam Dummett, and Glenda Schirmer Miller, co-hostess. Punch was followed by coffee and three desserts: Truffles, chocolate, and party mix. Following lunch, Glenda gave the program and instructions for a Valentine craft project which everyone took home with them along with prizes and handmade gifts by Lindy. This is the 24th year this traditional party has been held in Sanborn. So much laughter and loving thoughts were shared to make the afternoon complete. Everyone enjoyed her decorated home and the history of her Valentine collection. Lindy stated that she is looking forward to next year. Truffles were provided by Sheila Tebben. Barney made coffee and did valet service.
