Steven “Barney” Buren, age 67 of Sanborn, IA, passed away at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Sanborn. Visitation will be Friday, June 9 at the Sanborn Funeral Home in Sanborn from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Family will be present at that time. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Roseland Cemetery near Sanborn. Sanborn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
