Sioux Central 15, HMS 0
The Rebels used the long ball and effective pitching to cruise past HMS in a game that was stopped in the third inning due to the time limit. Sioux Central belted three home runs while the Hawks were held to one hit: a single by Gracie Knobloch. Taking the pitching loss was Kamryn Ebel who went 1-1/3 innings. She gave up 11 earned runs on seven hits, seven walks and a hit batter. Kinsey Schirmer pitched in relief.
HMS 7, South O’Brien 5
The Wolverines scored two runs in the second, two in the third and one in the fourth to take the 5-0 lead. Knobloch’s pitching prowess was demonstrated by way of eight strikeouts and only one earned run on four hits. She walked one batter and hit one.
