The Crazy Eight Card Club met Friday at noon last week for lunch at Jay’s Restaurant and an afternoon of cards. Jean Snyder was high, Ronda Pry second, and Donna Fell low.
Jim Dasen of Cedar Rapids came Friday afternoon and spent until Sunday afternoon in the parental Charlotte Dasen home.
Randy and Candice Lyman, and Chad and Rhonda Lyman visited Swede and Kim Eliker and Ryker at Lincoln, NE over the weekend. They did some work on the Eliker house and also were able to watch grandson Ryker play hockey.
Last week Monday Jeane and Harriet Van Veldhuizen went to the Arlene Boscaljon apartment at the Sheldon Christian Retirement Home to celebrate Jeane’s birthday. Others present were Phyllis Rook and Shirley Mulder. On Sunday Dale and Marilyn DeBoer of Sibley joined Jeane and Harriet at Jay’s Restaurant for noon lunch and then dessert at Prairie View Manor to celebrate Jeane’s 90th birthday anniversary which is November 14.
