Donna Fell celebrated her 91st birthday over the weekend. Her six children and a grandson came to help her celebrate. Janet Wait from Tennessee came to Iowa on Friday and first attended a surprise birthday party for her friend, Darla Van Wyk at North Liberty. Tim Carlson of Cedar Rapids brought her with him to Sanborn on Sunday. Joyce Hindman and son Dominic of Oregon came Saturday. Mike Carlson of Waverly, and Stan Carlson arrived Saturday from Iowa City. Curt Carlson of Emmettsburg came Sunday. Curt, Stan, Joyce and Dominic attended church services with Donna Sunday morning at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The step-children on the Fell side also called her. She was delighted to receive a call from old Sanborn friends, Bill and Vickie Luke. Donna lives at Prairie View Manor.
