One of Northwest Iowa’s largest bowling tournaments gets underway January 25 at Bowl-Mor Lanes in Sanborn.
A family gathering was enjoyed at the Gary Japenga home Thursday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gallup Jr. and family. Present were the Jim Wolfs of Primghar, the A.D. Bogaards, Grace Wolf, and Olive Loafman. The Gallups are visiting here from Colorado Springs, CO.

Sleet followed by snow fell in the area Sunday morning…strong winds Sunday night caused hazardous driving conditions.
Bob and Marcia Douma moved over the weekend into the house in Sanborn they recently purchased from Denny Postma. Kent and Heidi Douma have moved to the Douma farm and Denny Van Egdom has purchased the house that Kent and Heidi vacated.
