Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn chopped 14 strokes off of it’s previous low score to defeat West Sioux 221-225 April 25 at Hawarden Golf & Country Club. This was just the third time the Hawks have had at least four varsity competitors – the minimum number needed to post a team score. HMS raised its conference duals record to 2-4.
The Hawks took the top two medals. Gracie Knobloch was the medalist after firing a round of 46. Kinsey Schirmer took home the second-place medal with a round of 51. Ava Dolphin carded a 61. Another freshman, Kinley Sampson, shot 63 – 15 strokes lower than her prior round.
