Each child selected a particular famous character who they admired and each had a station where they stood dressed in their character’s clothing. In the front of each station a white paper with a red dot was glued to the floor. They stood with heads bowed and when they saw someone step on the red dot they raised their heads and told who they were portraying and gave a summary about their selected person. Of particular interest was Chloe Koerselman. The person she had selected was Simone Biles and she told some interesting facts about this well known gymnast. The children learned some facts about the others. There were about 75 stations to visit. Some other notables were Clara Barton, Neil Armstrong, Sally Ride and Elvis. It was an informative impressive afternoon.
