Elderbridge Agency on Aging is the local area agency on aging providing the following services for any person aged 60 and older who has been adversely affected by the recent and ongoing flooding:
1) information and referral services,
2) assistance in completing FEMA or other financial assistance forms,
3) referrals to appropriate agencies for safe housing, food, clothing, or other necessities,
4) referrals into case management
Counties included in the Disaster Proclamation are Buena Vista, Cerro Gordo, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Floyd, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Pocahontas, Sioux, Webster, Winnebago, Worth and Wright.
Although their Spencer office at 714 10th Ave. East in Spencer will be closed until it is safe for staff and the public to safely access the building, Elderbridge Agency on Aging is available by phone at 800-243-0678.
