The 2024 Railroad Days Parade Marshal is Merne Haack. Merne has lived in Sanborn for 67 years. In August, he and his wife, Edna, will celebrate 57 years of marriage. They have three sons, Ryan, Rusty and Kyle, and eight grandchildren. Merne has been a part of the American Legion for 53 years and currently serves as Commander of Sanborn’s Earl T. Conaway Post #318. Merne enjoys riding his antique tractors so look for him leading the Railroad Days Parade on his tractor July 27.
