HMS boys take third place at Hawk Relays
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s boys produced five event winners as they hosted their own Hawk Relays April 23 at Hartley. That helped HMS to 78 points and a third place finish among the nine teams competing. Okoboji scored 141 points to get past second-place Sibley-Ocheyedan which finished with 134.
Noah Adams, Ryan Borden, Dawson Schiphoff and Connor Dodd teamed up to capture both the 4×100 and 4×200 relay. Dodd added wins in the 100 meters and 200 meters while Adams placed first in the long jump and was second in the 100.
