A retirement party was held for Julia Meyer April 16 at the AMPI main office. Julia has been at AMPI, as HR/Benefits Coordinator, for nearly eight years, from July 2013 until now. “I worked with many kind and hard working people at AMPI and will miss them and wish them well,” said Meyer.
This is her second time working in Sanborn, as her first job was at Prins Insurance. Julia has also worked at Peters & Reimers Ins. in Spencer, Beef Specialists of Iowa in Hartley, and SIG Int’l in Boyden while “raising my family in there along the way, and now I end my career in Sanborn at AMPI.”
Julia looks forward to enjoying the free time that she will have to do bowling and golfing activities with her husband, Stan and friends. Her plans also include gardening, spending time with family and visiting their children in Des Moines and California. Added Julia, “I love to draw and paint barn quilts and rocks and flower pots and milk jugs! I will continue to do some computer work for websites, as I love working with computers and creating also. It sounds like I will still be busy!”
