The Junior-Senior Prom was held Thursday evening at the Lakes…the guests were taken to Vern & Coila’s where they enjoyed their banquet…the evening hours were spent dancing on the Empress.
Sanborn Community School will graduate 25 Seniors on Fri., May 21.
The J.W. Cravens Agency reports the sale of the Eva Cuppett residence to Harlyn Raymond with possession in the near future.

A fast moving hail and wind storm moved through the area last Friday dumping golf ball size hail on Sanborn.
HMS Commencement is May 26 for the 61 seniors.
A Balloon Launching was held at Prairie View last week. Each resident released a balloon which contained a note with his/her name and address asking the person who found the balloon to write.
Those inducted into the HMS Athletic Hall of Fame were Merle Vander Woude, Terry Muilenberg, and Rosalie Remmers Holsalaw.
